On 16th February, Emerald Strategy Partners (ESP) was delighted to attend the Chinese New Year Gala 2026 at the National Concert Hall, Dublin, following a kind invitation from the Chinese Embassy in Ireland.
The evening marked a vibrant and meaningful celebration of the Year of the Horse, bringing together representatives from diplomacy, business, culture, and the wider Irish–Chinese community in the heart of Dublin.
We were honoured to attend at the invitation of Zhao Xiyuan, Chinese Ambassador to Ireland, and Madame Li Yi, whose warm hospitality and leadership made the occasion both memorable and inspiring.
The gala showcased the richness of Chinese culture through music, performance, and artistic expression, while also reflecting the spirit of friendship and mutual respect that continues to define relations between Ireland and China.
The importance of the relationship between Ireland and China has never been greater. As global markets become more interconnected, constructive dialogue, cultural exchange, and economic cooperation play an increasingly vital role in supporting sustainable growth and mutual understanding.
Events such as this gala provide an important platform to strengthen these ties, encouraging collaboration across trade, education, innovation, and investment. They also highlight the shared commitment of both countries to building long-term partnerships based on trust and cooperation.
For ESP, participation in this celebration reflects our continued commitment to supporting meaningful engagement between Ireland, China, and the wider international community.
As a consultancy working at the intersection of European and Asian markets, we greatly value opportunities to connect with partners, institutions, and stakeholders in an open and positive setting. These occasions help deepen relationships, exchange perspectives, and identify new opportunities for collaboration.
We are grateful to the Chinese Embassy in Ireland for their generous invitation and for hosting such a distinguished and well-organised event. It was a privilege to celebrate the Year of the Horse alongside friends and partners from across both nations.
